Box Office: Vicky Kaushal’s Film ‘Chhaava’ Faces a Dip on Third Monday, Other Films Struggle

Rashmika Mandanna and Vicky Kaushal’s latest film Chhaava generates lowest revenue in 18 days. Despite the dip, the film has achieved an impressive worldwide collection in a short period. Meanwhile, Superboys of Malegaon and Crazy have performed poorly at the box office.

While Chhaava had a massive boost on its 17th day, the earnings saw a significant drop on the 18th day. Based on the life of Chhatrapati Raja Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the film has successfully attracted audiences to theaters. However, Superboys of Malegaon and Crazy have failed to make an impact, with Crazy barely holding on.

A Historic Action Film Dominating the Box Office

The 2025 blockbuster Chhaava showcases the valor and glory of the Maratha Empire, leaving audiences filled with pride. Vicky Kaushal, playing the role of Sambhaji Maharaj, has delivered a power-packed performance, breathing life into the character.

Chhaava Records Its Lowest Earnings on Third Monday

On its third Monday (Day 18), Chhaava experienced its lowest earnings so far. While this decline is noticeable, it does not pose a significant problem for the makers. Made on a budget of ₹130 crore, the film has already crossed ₹625 crore worldwide. According to Sacnilk, the film earned ₹8.25 crore on Day 18, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹467 crore.

Chhaava Crosses ₹630 Crore Worldwide

In terms of worldwide collections Chhaava crossed revenue of around 630 crores. The film has earned approximately ₹78 crore from international markets, further solidifying its success.

Superboys of Malegaon and Crazy Struggle

The recently released Superboys of Malegaon, directed by Reema Kagti, has failed miserably, recording no significant earnings on its fourth day. Similarly, Crazy, directed by Girish Kohli, collected only ₹0.43 crore on its first Monday, bringing its total domestic earnings to ₹4.18 crore. The film features actors like Soham Shah, Nimisha Sajayan, Tinu Anand, Shilpa Shukla, and Unnati Khurana.

While Chava has maintained its dominance in the theatres, other films are struggling to stay afloat. It remains to be seen how much further Chhaava can go in its record-breaking run.
